The Sky's the Limit

Birthdays are milestones.  Time to dream, to remember, to cherish what you've been given and hope for what's to come.  Friendships that last, are the best.  When you've made that commitment to regard one another, not because you're the same, not because you agree on everything, but just because you're friends. 

The longer any friendship lasts, the more each knows about the other, the weaknesses, the strengths, the vulnerabilities.  Hanging around with someone who has made that decision to hold you in high esteem, through thick and thin, that's a most powerful kind of gift that one friend can give another.
