Helsinki by night

A hectic, hot day. Claire was off with the youth group to the Time Capsule, but not with our kids. They needed to be in Penicuik and Broughton for overlapping sessions, making it necessary to operate a semi-continuous shuttle service.

I was off to Helsinki at five, so as the afternoon slid away things for about more hectic. A few items on my list got missed.

And there's no direct flight so I was on a 4 hour journey via Amsterdam, arriving in Helsinki at just after midnight local time. Walking from central station to the Eurohostel took me through a darkened, quiet, spacious city. I hope I get a chance to look around tomorrow.
