By Muirends, on the Black Isle, looking South West.
Went up the hill to the Fyrish folly to catch the dawn. Bit misty down below, as forecast, but it wasn't great by any means. Had tripod issues too. Another clamp fractured. Annoyed at lugging it all the way up there, for it to fail when I wanted it... again. And it was a cheap one either. At least it didn't topple over into that pool I was setting up in front of.
On the drive back, the misty scenes close to home looked far better. It just isn't so easy to stop and take a snap with a car, especially on tight single track roads with few passing places. So later, went for a longish cycle run, with a film camera, and hence we have this Blip (along with the previous frame used on the Film journal, here).
