Rosehaugh

Lovely walk in Rosehaugh amongst the bluebells.
Yesterday we discovered that one of our favourite walks had been reopened, today we discovered that another one has been ploughed up. Arkendeith field, on Rosehaugh is no longer a beautiful field of grass, it is now all dirt and a lot of the gorse has been dug up. In the Autumn it used to be full of the most beautiful purple headed grasses, you could walk amongst it, the dogs would disappear, just their waving tails could be seen. In the snow children could make angels all over it. The views from the top of it were soooo beautiful, one way you could see the Firth and in the other direction the snow topped mountains were clearly visible. Sad.

The extra photo is Arkendeith Field last February time.
