The Wallace Monument.

Off into Stirling this morning, (MaggieD's mobile phone is giving a few minor problems) then we spent a fair bit of the afternoon in the garden and tidying the garage. (Still quite a bit to deal with) so this evening we visited the monument for a stroll up and a look around. The tower was closed for the day so it was nice and quiet but we met some very nice folk from Hong Kong.
The view was a bit hazy but Ben Lomond & Ben Ledi were clearly visible. But not to the camera!
On the way down we detoured across to the university campus for a quick look for cygnets. We came across an adult swan with eight tiny grey cygnets. My photos were rubbish but MaggieD took a few good ones.
