Gloucester Tall Ships

Ok, a traditional photograph of the traditional tall ships festival at Gloucester... but take a look at the extra photo... Water Jet Boots!!! Heh. I so want a go. Some other photo's on flickr


This year for the first time there was a £2 entrance to access the docks, or £6 for the weekend including Bank Holiday Monday, and this also gave access to the museums. It offers access onto the ships too but of course even with the extra charge the queues were horrendous. We may venture back on Monday, but tomorrow Greg_Lovett is kindly cooking us lunch. Ships or Sunday Lunch... hardly a difficult choice really.

The weather was splendid, and we took Morrigan and managed to find free motorcycle parking near by. We cleverly made sandwiches and then left them in the panniers... hey ho, we still managed to avoid the clutches of the sellers of dubious comestibles, despite the wonderful smells.
