Hats, hats and more hats!!

Brilliant day!!  I went hat hunting with R this morning and we had great fun. The “hat lady” was about 5mins away from the house and had an amazing selection on offer. The one she chose was the first that she tried on, but she had to try on a few more to make sure that it was right!! The hat has been hired for the Buckingham Palace Garden Party next week.

In the afternoon B & I went into town to do some shopping and visit a garden centre for advice on the “bug” problems that I have with several of the trees / bushes in our new garden. It turns out that the basic problem is ant damage, exacerbated by green fly. The plants are far too close together which is causing stress. I have been given advice to follow over the next 12 months.


Fingers crossed  that it works!!
