Multipurpose pic

My ceramic poppies arrived before Christmas but, apart from checking they are OK, I had done nothing with them - not even photographed them!
I enjoy doing odd challenges - Blip of course is the main one, being a daily commitment - then there is the weekly Alphabet Challenge and the monthly 12x12 on Flickr - and this week there has been a short daily challenge for one week only called Synchroneyes with just a one word subject each day.
Todays subject was Red, the alphabet wanted U for Unmissable - so I used this - the poppy is red, the event it symbolised was unmissable, and now it's todays blip as well!
