Day 5, Madrid, Aranjuez, home.

We visited Aranjuez, which is the City that has one of the Royal Palaces.  Only 20 rooms are open for visitors and definitely NO photographs.

The gardens are quite extensive, but they are in the middle of replanting, so not much colour.  These little goslings were about the best thing to photograph.  The little one at the end reminded me of Danny, he tried to make a break for freedom, but Mum soon caught him and brought him back into line.

It was a long tiring journey home, we finally got into our house at 7pm,, having left the hotel at 9.30am.

Quick shower, then out for a meal, then bed.
