Kjenndalen Glacier

An outward bound coach trip to see the Kjenndalen Glacier and return boat trip today along the Lovatnet Lake.

An incredible place with many tragic events in its history.

Living in a rugged lanscape surrounded by high mountains with a large lake at its feet is fraught with danger from both avalanche and rock fall with many inhabitants killed by past tsunami.

The glacier blipped here isn't impressive as it once was but it is apparently increasing slowly once more.
