Springtime at Haddo

We've had a great Saturday with the grandchildren. We started off with a visit to the Kintore Summer Festival, taking in the pipe band, tractors and a piglet or two plus Bookbug time at the library, followed by a coffee and blether at our friends in Kintore. After that an excellent lunch in Inverurie before heading over to the park and adventure playground at Haddo. Don't know who was more tired after this, the grandweans or us! Lots of sunshine but a cold wind too. I loved the contrast of this copper beech with the bluebells below. Just wished I had a camera that would do it justice! One day!
