Chicks

It's been a lovely birthday so far for TheAphid,  going to see the latest Avengers film (which we tagged along for too) and gaming back home with friends. Rik made a cake this morning with marshmallow fondant icing which tasted rather yummy when scraping the bowl! I've added the decorated cake as an extra!

I went down the track this morning and saw Coot chicks on the path between the pond and the reservoir. One had already made it on the water with the parents and one of the three looked like it was struggling a bit, but being encouraged by a sibling. I took lots of photos and although this isn't brilliant I like it the best.
