7 day NHS

The current political health issue is the 7 day NHS. Apparently we shut down at 3pm on a Friday.

The clock is showing 2:20am on a bank holiday weekend and there were 11 staff in theatre. And that doesn't include portering, blood bank, ICU etc, who were all also involved.

Consultants have to start working weekends... oh, hang on, they do already.
