Sunnyside

Once more out with the Belles. Today's ride took us from the Leamington Lifting Bridge out along the canal, onto the Water of Leith, and out into Balerno. From there, country roads (and a bit of a climb) brought us to Harlaw reservoir, frequented by us relatively often, but always by car. It was a pleasure to bowl gently along the paths on the south side of the reservoir, and then along the north side of Threipmuir, but only after enjoying an icecream from the Vanilla Pod mobile cafe at the Harlaw Visitor Centre.

After that, it was pretty much downhill all the way back to town, for a late lunch at Loudons, and brownies brought home to Mr A. And brilliant weather the whole time. I'm feeling a touch pink right now. Plus 54 kms overall.
