Rhododendron

After a busy morning in the garden, which involved having a huge bonfire, (too hot for a blip of it ;)), I went for a walk with my Mum and Daisy to the local cemetery in Cowes. It is one of the only cemeteries on the island that allow dogs to walk through it. It is large, so makes for a nice walk. Daisy enjoys it as it is quiet and peaceful and she can run on her long lead. I like looking at all the old headstones from years past, and seen which is the oldest I can find. Some you cannot read the date. I found one from 1850. This rhododendron is one of many throughout the cemetery.
