Coming home

I actually sat on the ground and watched these two beautiful rainbow lorikeets for quite a while. They were chirping away, and one of them would fly down to the lower branch have a fossick around and fly back up. It's like they were being lookout in case something else came along.

I just managed to catch them both as this one was flying back up to the top of the tree. It was quite nice just to sit there and watch them for a little while. There were plenty of other birds flitting around and making lots of other noise, and you could also hear the frogs down at the creek.

Such a beautiful area to live in.
