A Quiet day at the beach

I was up, dressed and had my granddaughter dressed by 8 a.m.  My husband packed the car with the beach chairs and after we dropped Nadia off at preschool, we were on the road headed to the beach.  The day was beautiful.  Sunny but on the cool side.

The idea was to have breakfast at the Pavilion on the boardwalk first and then to head down to the beach and sit with our feet in sand and the sun on our faces.  Breakfast was so delicious.  Two poached eggs on top of cooked spinach that sat on an English muffin and the whole thing was sprinkled with shredded cheese that was melted on top.  Yum!

Their weren't many people around so it felt like we had the beach to ourselves.  I could have easily fallen asleep sitting there but after two hours we decided to drive home.  It was a very relaxing day.  I can't wait to go back.
