New patio, in record time!

After living in this house for 25 years, we are finally putting in a patio.  The workers came this morning, and in no time had torn out my overgrown plants and shrubs, broken down the old concrete, put in the forms, added in gravel, packed it all down and got it ready for concrete pouring.  I thought it would take days!  Here's a view of the new space, which will look like granite when it's done.  We'll actually have a place to put our table and chairs and maybe even a fire pit!
