Road trip to Cardiff to surprise the step daughter. Arrived in good time-only five hours on the road in bank holiday traffic so all good. Step daughter was so pleased to see us after the confusion of the 'let us in' phone call from outside the house. Trip to the Rhondda valleys tomorrow to surprise my Granny.
