Bee in a purple haze

Day 3 in Kent was a great improvement - a little warmer and hardly any rain. Great Dixter gardens and Hastings were on the itinerary. I have lots of photos of the amazing gardens, but I loved this bee that seemed to be completely intoxicated in a great border of large purple alliums. In Hastings, I was impressed to see a little huddle of teenage girls apparently fishing from the harbour wall in the far distance, until I zoomed in (see extra photo).
