Hedgehog Café

For the last few nights my trail cam has shown the Hedgehog arriving at around 3:00am. I put peanuts and the camera out before I go to bed. I have some special hedgehog  food, but it's not cheap and the local cats seem to like it, so I'm reluctant to put it out.
When I went out last night to put out the camera and peanuts, there was the hedgehog in the spot where I leave the nuts - waiting! 
It waited patiently  while I put out the nuts and the camera, so a thought I'd try for the food. It disappeared briefly, but as the food went out, it returned and polished it off while I watched.  The trail cam showed that it returned later for the peanuts as a dessert.
