Harestail cotton grass

There is a profusion of this bog cotton this year and I've only seen Bog Beacon, in extra photo, once before. This year it seems to be everywhere.
A pleasant day and the evening sun was lovely, too bright to see to load up the blip!
The oystercatcher is still sitting tight on the roadside and I found another nesting almost on the road!
