Back Garden

There's a lack of a back garden in the new house, presumably because it's just a rental property the landlord decided to brick it over to save on maintenance and such - I wouldn't have minded taking a mower out now and again to tell the truth (it's good thinking time).

Happily in the surrounding countryside there's all kinds of back garden views to be had, this particular one is looking over the fields from Great to Little Wibraham on one of my favourite cycle routes. I have a mountain bike so it's not really good for long distance journeys, but there's a nice eleven-miler loop that suits (and can be turned into a twenty-miler figure eight if you head upstream).

The rest of the day passed pretty much as usual, watching films with a spot of house tidying, followed by making more of a mess. Then with pretty much the most impromptu planning ever Mark came over and we had a retro games night, or retro game even as we ony played Mario Double-Dash - ending with a well-deserved 1st & 4th finish in the 150cc grand tournament; geekery rules.

Hope everyone else had a great Jubilee holiday, I'm off to enjoy Tuesday just as much (by doing nothing...)
