Kiwi

This is a flower on our male kiwi plant. We did have two female plants but one died. This is the first year that we have had any flowers on a female plant so Spouseman has been pollinating the few female flowers with some of the copious male flowers in the hope that we will finally have our own kiwi-fruit. Whether we do or whether we don't it still provides a lovely shady canopy.
