Abbot's bay

We had lost our list of completed Wainwrights so last night I entered them all again onto a website that logs them.  I was pleasantly surprised that we have climbed 73 which is over 1/3 of the total.  The count may even be a few more as I only entered the ones I was sure of and when I check on the map there may be a few more we have done.

Fired with enthusiasm and sporting a new pair of walking trousers, we decided to bag a few more Wainwrights today but sadly the cloud was so low that you couldn't see the top of Lattrig.  We decided therefore to walk round Derwentwater instead.

Someone who shall remain nameless left their walking stick at a cafe (that's a small payback for yesterday!)

The light was very errr subtle.  Actually it was lovely but unfortunately most of my nice shots got drops of rainwater on the lens.

Going to the theatre tonight and home tomorrow

New trousers are great by the way!
