Wood coming alive

Watched the documentair about the renovation of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam (dutch national museum) on tele and here its curator for Asian art mr. Menno Fitski stands in awe for the Japanese Templeguard ~ in the film the 2 guards were presented like 2 loudly grumbling / breathing statues what expressed the fixed admiration for these wooden statues by the curator so vividly. These statues were welcomed into the museum with a blessing by priests for having a good life in their new palace.
