Jerbourg Beacon

Beacons were lit all across Britain for the Jubilee and here in the Channel Islands we did our bit. Just after 10.15 this one was lit at Jerbourg Point, the most southerly tip of Guernsey. We had fireworks on the Castle Cornet breakwater and from our viewpoint in St Peter Port we also saw the Beacons on the islands of Jethou and Sark. A good end to a great day Best viewed large
