C'mon Ireland

Freebie t-shirt we got in Glasgay Glasgow last year, but hopefully also encouragement to Ireland to do the right thing tomorrow. The first referendum on gay marriage anywhere in the world. Exciting and a little scary.

But if I can, I'd like to put forward the example of my wife and I. Married just 4 weeks ago, together since '93; the world hasn't stopped turning and (more importantly) nobody else's marriage is impacted at all.

Don't like gay marriage? Don't get gay married. But don't tell other people they can't. It's like banning coconut because you don't like to eat it yourself.

I hope that tomorrow I can be proud of being Irish-by-marriage in more ways than one.
