Outlander

I found out a bit more today about what is happening regarding the closure of part of Dysart Harbour and surrounding paths and roads for the upcoming filming.

The current restrictions will last for a month while the set is prepared and dismantled. For 4 days around two days of filming, wider restrictions will be in place so it looks doubtful if the public will be able to see anything at all - particularly as filming is between 2pm ans 2am..


The series for US TV (Starz) is being filmed at locations around Scotland and is called 'Outlander 2'. 'Outlander 1' was apparently a great success. The stories are based on a series of books by Diana Gabaldon.

Plot summary:
In 1945, married World War II nurse Claire Beauchamp Randall finds herself transported back to Scotland in 1743, where she encounters rebellion and the dashing Highland warrior Jamie Fraser.
