A new view

My parents will be moving into their flat in a week's time so today I went with them to visit it. This will be the view from their bedroom and on the left is their balcony. Sheltered from most possible winds and on the top floor, it's a great sun trap. I just hope they get a decent length of time to enjoy it before my Dad's mind gets too bad.

Another long day, being internal examiner for one of our student's (successful) 3-hour PhD viva, 1.5-hour meeting with the boss, 2-hour visit to the flat and fine celebratory meal with the student, his wife, his supervisor and the external examiner.
