I had a great hour of photography on my patch before work this morning. This swan family was blipped when the cygnets were born on 12th May, the sad news is that the 6 cygnets are down to 2, but the good news is they are having a close eye kept on them.

I also added into extras another one of peregrine breakfast (a young moorhen) and a cormorant, both are worth a glance at.

the #BTCB news is a bit sad as well, as the 7 blue tit chicks are down to 5. Although the 5 are developing fast with distinct wings now and an identifiable pattern on their heads.
