Home for the next eleven hours

Not a small airport Beijing. All the normal rubbish shops and the standard waiting around for the next stage in the boarding process.
Flight was actually pretty smooth and seemed to pass quickly - three films helped. For us anyway - serious medical case in first class meant the plane was nearly diverted to Paris.
Taxi then crawled back to Wellington through typical Friday night M25 traffic.  Good to be back in the green and lush surroundings that are Wellington College and perhaps more importantly to have a few pints of English beer with some old friends in the Social Club there!
