Azalea in bloom
Another quick trip to Bodenham Arboretum this afternoon. May is the time when the azalea garden is in full bloom. Normally the laburnum tunnel would be ready by this stage in May, but I'm told that it will be pretty much there in about a week. Meanwhile I have uploaded a frond from that not-yet-ready laburnum tunnel as an extra, along with another azalea.
I was playing around with a 50mm prime lens on f2.8 by the way. I don't use that lens enough, but it's worth using sometimes because, as you don't have the luxury of zoom, you have to take so much more care over your positioning and composition.
