A rainbow over Loch Ness

After a day in Kinross visiting friends, we drove up to Inverness today to visit Mr MC's cousin and her husband.  This afternoon they drove us to see Urquhart Castle which sits on the banks of Loch Ness.  We had driven up from Kinross mostly in driving rain, but the weather eventually came good as you can see.  There was no sign of the fabled Loch Ness Monster but I think this beautiful rainbow was more than adequate compensation!


Since I took up the challenge of MonoMonday, about a year ago, I have rarely missed a week. I would have loved to have found something appropriate for the Day of The Triffids theme ( I loved the book and various TV productions) but it just wasn't practical - loved looking at others' images though.
