This is the little bugger that started all the problems.

My Dad is visiting today and he'll do what dad's do - tell me how to fix it.

Anyway, recovered about 70-80% of the lost files. The rest are either missing or corrupt. Only gone through the 'chosen' ones so far. Fed up sitting at the computer and not relishing the task of going through the thousands of others to rename them, re-file them and check they're ok.

Of the ones I have lost, I still have (for almost all of them) high res TIF copies. Not quite the same, but at least that is something. Luckily I kept them (and my Lightroom settings) separate from the actual camera files.

Thanks to everyone for your concern. It's been a crappy week. Not got out as much with the camera. Lost the desire for it a bit, but I'm sure it will return.
