Solace Adventure Day 4

Sadly, this is turnaround day. We made our way up the Trent & Mersey Canal to Middlewich where we turned at the winding hole.

Here are katkatkat, G and Jerra working the locks, as usual with The Mate steering. Such a good team! We can get through a lock really quickly.

A little bit of sunshine here at Middlewich while we were waiting for a boat to come down the lock. I used this shot because it is so unusual to see water pouring over the lock gates.
