From A Distance

The weather was much better yesterday. But after waiting in for a gas boiler service, again the day was half over. So our tally of Wainwrights climbed has not increased very much this week. We did manage to squeeze in a quick whizz up Holme Fell which is a tiny little bump of a fell and the second smallest Wainwright! However, you do get to see great views of Lake Coniston stretching out before you.
After that we went over to meet our son in law's family and had rather a lot to eat and in my case drink, so we were a bit late back!
