Well, we all survived my first day back at work. The girls slept soundly through the night and when my alarm went off at 5:20 I could hear Emma talking in her crib. So after I got the girls up and changed and snuggled a bit, Mitch got all the kids breakfast while I got ready for work. The kids and I were in the car at 6:27 and we got to Miles’ school by 7:05. The girls’ nanny met us there and took the sleeping babies back to her house while I dropped Miles off.
I was pretty giddy to be around my work friends but missed my girls like crazy so I checked up on them during lunch. Haddie was sleeping and miss Emma was happily hanging out and when she saw me starting freaking out with excitement which was a great feeling.

Overall the girls did great, traffic was good on the way home, had a delish family dinner that mitch made, went for a walk, played, got everyone to bed, I went for a run and had a tiny bit to relax before day 2.
