Green Filter

I love to see what different filters do to color - these were/are red poppies! It must be my love of color - when I paint I often look through a red filter to bring colors to one of the levels of neutral - I tend to be kind in a mid-value rang with paint - fear of being out there I suspect!

The color red makes me think of one of my art professors who waxed on about the color red while he was doing a series all in red and all about red. If anyone has helped me think about simplification and of the world in the eye of a needle, it would be Denzil Hurley. To red, whether through green filter or not!
