George Parsonage MBE - The Riverman

I met up with George Parsonage this morning, Officer of the Glasgow Humane Society.  His boathouse is on the River Clyde, alongside Glasgow Green.  Full of stories, I also had the chance to admire his sculpture, paintings and boats he is working on.  

He has probably rescued more than 1,500 people from the river over the years, following in his father's footsteps.  An article about George from The Scotsman here.
