The Fovant Badges

Just outside the village of Fovant in Wiltshire is a hillside with regimental badges from WW1 carved into the chalk.  The badges were cut by British and Australian soldiers who were stationed in the area around Fovant 100 years ago  while they trained before heading off to the trenches in Fance and Belgium.
The badges are maintained by the Fovant Badges Society (http://www.fovantbadges.com)
