The Hoad

I've often driven past this monument when I've been to Ulverston. Today the weather faired up so after I'd made my call to the community cafe in Ford Park. I parked my car and headed up to get a better view.
I wasn't dressed appropriately as I had heels and a suit on, but the path up is tarmac. I did pass a man on my way up and we had a joke about my attire. I saw him in the car park and he congratulated me for getting up and down in heels .
The view from the summit was lovely, could see for miles.
