Sealife

Was crossing the 2nd barrier today and noticed a group of people pointing cameras at something moving on the water near the shore.

Whenever you see this happening it's usually worth pulling over to see what they are looking at... whales, dolphins, otters, assorted birds.

Today it turned out to be a couple of snorkellers (if that's the correct term) and what I think may have been a TV crew. I know the Spring Watch team are in Orkney over the next couple of weeks so I suspect an article about snorkelling at the barriers may be featured soon.
