Old Style

I love to see old traditions kept going. This lot were being ferried out to Balta Isle, at the mouth of the voe. The lambs kept escaping, which caused some er, frustration :-) The kids were getting their life jackets on when they turned up, so after the Yoal got off with the first crew, the sheep were the next to board their boat. I was busy watching when I suddenly thought camera! Imagine not thinking to take a photo, fortunately it was only in the car. Extra photo as I love the lamb's colour and markings.

Trip to Yell this morning for the dentist, on my return I drove straight to the school/leisure centre from the ferry to try and catch some of the football but they had finished. There were primary and secondary football and netball matches. The Unst primary lads won their match (6-1), evidently they haven't beaten Yell for years, so they were a very happy bunch.

I did a class at the leisure centre last night,  not something I would normally do, so I have a few sore muscles, wonder how I will feel tomorrow.
