Just a crumb

I don't usually put out bread for birds - they have feeders full of nuts, nyger seed and fat balls and sunflower hearts on the bird table - but today I placed a hunk of seeded bread on the table just outside the patio window and I waited with my camera to see who appeared,
There were three 'takers' - starlings, who just wanted to fight over it, a robin, who wouldn't stay still and a couple of house sparrows. This sparrow blip was the best of the bunch.
