Couldn't help myself - it's another bee blip today.
As you can see, it is quite a tight fit in this bloom, and quite a long way down to the base where the nectar is stored. Then the bee has to crawl out backwards before it can spread its wings to fly to the next one. Amazingly, the white filaments holding the dark pollen (seen here lying on the bee's back) are never broken and when the bee leaves the flower looks untouched!
