It's an Ill Wind.....

After W had gone out this morning I was going to go out myself but discovered that the other car, which hasn't been used for some time, had a flat battery. I could have phoned the rescue people but decided I'd sort it out myself later and get on with a few things I'd been meaning to do for a while. One of those was to renew my rugby season ticket which needs to be done by the end of the month to get my discount; I'd just written the cheque and sealed the envelope when I found out I'd received exactly the same amount back, to the penny, from the security deposit on the apartment we had in Rome recently. OK, I know I had to pay it out in the first place but I'd almost forgotten about it, so a nice little bonus!
