Climbing and walking.

We have done a heck of a lot today! It's been hot and sunny today.

First of all we went to Braunton Burrows and climbed the dunes. Eldest and I climbed the tallest one! Woo hoo!

Then we went back to Woolacombe again for the beach swings, ice cream, walking on the cliffs and down to Barricade beach which had amazing rock pools and rock formations. Watched the air ambulance come to airlift someone off the beach. Crazy golf, bumper boats and go karts. I went shopping while boys went on the 2p machines. It was very very busy there!

Went to Cook Island for tea and then drove along the coast back to Braunton to climb the tallest hill there to watch a huge campfire lit as a beacon and we could see for miles and could see a couple of other ones lit in the distance.

Boys were asleep within seconds of being tucked in! Have done the majority of the packing ready for tomorrow as its homeward bound tomorrow. We may only have had four days away but we've packed a fair bit into it with a chilling out day yesterday while the rain was here.
