Bouquet

Jubilee celebrations Day 1 ; in the morning a quick trip into town to buy an emergency dress for Emma's wedding party this evening. Reading was not a see of red, white and blue bunting; some stores had all the flags and random Jubilee related promotions, and there was a rather lame food festival mainly with local restaurants knocking out takeaway food.

A nice dog walk round Dinton in the afternoon with Carolyn & Ian, and then round to Dad's to discover that Richard has managed to slash his way through the long long grass with a lawnmower.

Emma and Mike's wedding Reception was held in the gardens of a gorgeous house out at Arborfield. Unfortunately as we arrived it started to rain, but it was a spectacular do and they had had a great day. Haven't been to a wedding, I guess, for over 20 years so interesting to see some "modern" twists.
