Le petit prince

This has got to be my favourite book of all times.

I just finished reading it again for yet another time. It touches me differently every time I read this - isn't this a commonality of all great works?

I read parts of this book to OO, while she mainly interests herself with the drawings.

I was literally in shock when she told me the drawing #1 was an elephant inside a snake. That was before she has seen the other drawing, of course.

I used to marvel at Saint-Exupéry's ability of preserving the inner child. Now I think this really is a secret language, one that only a true child who is pure at heart is privileged to understand.
